  1. Since we all seem to be voting on best pics, I’ll say that #4 was the obvious winner – the blonde cheerleader with blue eyes, a button nose and straight white teeth. But #3 was the shy gal that on closer inspection was the true beauty. Now, why I chose this analogy with high school girls is beyond me! But it just jumped into my head as I looked at these a few times; perhaps I am reliving my teenaged social anxiety this morning.

  2. Breath taking photos. I love all three. They should be in a famous gallery, or in a Big Bucks contest at least!
They could each easily be the centerpiece for an entire room in a mansion somewhere.
Oh, uncurl your toes. I’m just trying to say the are really some of the most beautiful photos I’ve ever seen.
Makes me want to make beaded jewelry using these colors! WOW. Seriously!

  3. I love the colors of the first photo and the tranquility of the third one! The first photo literally made me give out a sigh of bliss upon seeing it… those colors, the strips of tgem…thanks for starting my day well 🙂

I am a triple fire sign, so water is hugely important to me… I love living near a body of water, being in it, on it and having it as a calming cooling visual. Therefore the quote by Eisely and Da Vinci, really speak to me!

    • Who doesn’t love to look out at an ocean of green and blue, eh. And I also like the tranquil mood of the trees on the river shot. The blue Danubed turned gray!! Triple fire!! I think I’m all air…and can’t get my feet on the ground at all sometimes. Still meaning to reply about Hoi An apartment!!

      • Cause I’m crazy like that…no when I signed up for WordPress so long ago that’s what they gave me…not sure why and I never changed it, a lot of my passwords are still “password” HA!

        • Haha! You know, you do get to choose your own name, right? They just offer you choices of “available” names, probably there were already 470 kelis before you. Or it was just random, especially if your real name is Sam. I think you can change it??? and…really…password?? HA!

          • I don’t know mr badfish…I’m just not cool like you! Ha! But, now I am on a mission to come up with a new one!! Super freak was my theme song in college, but somehow that doesn’t seem appropriate for internet usage😉

          • superfreak is appropriate for internet…but is it still appropriate for you? keli 471 does have a certain ring to it, though. Or perhaps you could change it to “password”

  6. In Taoism they say that water is strongest. Here’s another water quote for you:

“Water is fluid, soft, and yielding. But water will wear away rock, which is rigid and cannot yield. As a rule, whatever is fluid, soft, and yielding will overcome whatever is rigid and hard. This is another paradox: what is soft is strong.”
